Custom software development
When nothing on the market matches how you actually work, we write the thing that does.
Custom software is not justified by taste. It is justified when your business has rules that off-the-shelf tools cannot follow: a commission calculation, an approval chain, a stock constraint, an invoicing rule that exists nowhere else. The moment your team works around the tool every day, the tool costs more than it returns.
The test is simple. Count the hours your team spends each week retyping, copying between spreadsheets, and correcting by hand what software should do on its own. If the total passes one working day, custom pays for itself.
We build from Monastir, Tunisia. For European clients that means one time zone at most, French and English spoken natively in the team, and travel that takes an afternoon rather than a week. For Gulf clients it means an overlap of a full working day. Distance is only a problem when it is also a time-zone problem.
What is included
Scoping and specification
We write what the software must do, in your vocabulary, before any technical discussion. That document acts as the contract: it states what is in scope and, more usefully, what is not.
Interface design
Every screen designed before it is built. Moving a button on a mockup costs nothing; moving it in written code costs a day.
Development
Built in iterations you can see. You get a usable version regularly, not a black box delivered at the end.
Data migration
Your spreadsheets, your legacy system, your history: imported, not abandoned. This is usually the hardest part of a project and the part quotes forget most often.
Deployment and training
Install, accounts, permissions, and real training for your people. Software nobody knows how to use does not exist.
Maintenance and change
Fixes, backups, security updates, and the changes real use uncovers. Living software needs an upkeep budget; software without one dies in two years.
Who it is for
- Companies whose operations do not fit any packaged product
- Businesses running on spreadsheets that have outgrown themselves
- Teams paying for several subscriptions that do not talk to each other
- Organisations that want to own their tooling rather than rent it forever
What drives the price
- The number of genuinely distinct screens — the single biggest factor, well ahead of the technology chosen.
- Whether there is an authenticated area with accounts, roles and permissions: that roughly doubles the surface to design and test.
- How unusual your business rules are. The more specific your operation, the more must be written explicitly.
- Integrations: existing POS, accounting, payment, SMS, hardware. Every connection to a third-party system is a project inside the project.
- Data migration, whose cost depends entirely on the state of your current data.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a custom build take?
It depends on scope, but the common mistake is trying to ship everything at once. We look for the smallest scope that is already useful, put it into production, then widen. You get value during the project rather than only at the end.
Who owns the code?
You do. It is the most important question at signature and the one most often skipped. Software whose source you do not hold is software you are renting, whatever the invoice says. Ask it of us and of every other supplier.
How does working with a Tunisian team actually work?
Tunisia sits in Central European Time, so the working day overlaps almost entirely with Europe and substantially with the Gulf. Our team works in French, English and Arabic. Most collaboration is remote, with on-site visits at the points where they matter — kickoff and deployment.
Can we start from one of your existing products?
Often, and it costs less. KweekServ, KweekStock, KweekStaff, KweekFit, KweekRent and KweekLoyalty already cover common needs in hospitality, logistics, HR, fitness, rental and loyalty. Adapting a proven base avoids paying twice for what is already built.
What if our requirements change mid-project?
They will, and a plan that does not expect it ends badly. We work in short iterations, so each change is priced and decided when it appears rather than discovered at delivery.
